Remember though, as mentioned earlier, you can generally pick and choose these luxuries from nearby shops, so it isn’t such a big deal if you are on a tight budget.
Is your stay for business or pleasure? If you are staying for business, you will probably be requiring a WIFI connection. These days, many hotels in Kings Cross will either provide complimentary WIFI, or at a small cost. Make a list of other essential facilities. If you have a meeting the next morning, a trouser press would come in handy. TV to catch up on the latest news, or even soaps! A desk and working area might also be needed for last minute work.
Finally, how long are you staying for? Consider that availability during busy times will be hard to find. So if you are over for a prolonged period- a holiday or a long business trip, its very advisable to book in advance to make sure you can keep your hotel room.
