Dining With Disneyland Characters Is Fun For You And Your Kid

If you want to give a pleasant surprise to your young ones, and maybe you yourself, a Disneyland Character meal would be a great idea. This will allow you and your whole family to have quality time with one or more of the Disneyland characters. In fact, this is the best way to really get to interact with them for any length of time.

Start by making a reservation. The Disneyland Vacation Planning Services Department will be more than happy to help you out with this. Reservations can be made up to sixty days in advance, so don’t leave this to the last minute. It’s easier than you think when trying to plan a Disneyland vacation and book it simultaneously.

Character breakfasts take place each morning at the park. No reservation needed – you can just stroll in anytime you are at the park. Goofy’s Kitchen is considered the best restaurant to start, though other park restaurants serve these breakfasts as well. You can find it at the Disneyland Hotel, and there are meals for diners of all ages. And if you’ve got toddlers, you (and your wallet) will be pleased to know that children under three can eat free of charge. All the Disney characters will pop in occasionally, but for sure you will get to see Goofy and Pluto. You may need to wait for a long time if you don’t reserve ahead, so make sure you do so if you want to take your family to Goofy’s Kitchen.

When you’re hungry and your child wants to dine with a Princess, then Ariel’s is the place to be – Ariel’s Grotto, that is. Serving three course meals, this is elegant dining that both kids and adults can enjoy. Each princess will come spend a little time at your table during your meal one at a time. It is also advisable to reserve well in advance for Ariel’s Grotto. This happens to be the only restaurant in the park that serves beer and other alcoholic drinks.

Discussing Character Meals would not be complete without the Storyteller’s Cafe. Take note, though, that you can only see the Characters during breakfast. Characters don’t pass by each and every table like the Princesses at Ariel’s Grotto do, rather, they engage in group interactions. You can choose between buffet and menu dining, and – you guessed it right – reservations are highly advisable. Lilo and Stitch also have a Character Breakfast, as does Minnie Mouse. The most popular by far is Breakfast with Minnie and Friends – this has to be reserved with enough notice in advance!

The Character Meal is a must in every Disneyland Vacation, so make sure you have one or two planned for the family. Many children have always wanted to spend some time with their favorite Disney cartoon characters, and such a breakfast will truly make them happy and embody the true meaning of Disneyland! But we have to remind this once again to everybody reading this article – reserve well in advance!
