Do Not Wear Jewellery To The Airport
I can understand why people dress up when it comes to going to the airport because they are getting on a plane full of loads of people and there are a lot of people out there that like to look their best for all kinds of situations including ones like this. However is it really necessary to put on all of thatsilver jewellery when it comes to the airport and even more importantly, would it be better off and waiting until you arrive n holiday.
Security
There is always an issue with security when it comes to jewellery and it is even worse if you are travelling to places like the US where security is a lot tighter than in other places of the world, make sure you know this before you leave. They will often ask people to take off all of that turquoise jewellery because it can interfere with the systems in place and will make the detector go off. you will have to do this when you land to which means a bit of hassle on both ends, you need to know this.
Being Comfortable
Getting comfortable on the plane is important to many people and if you are on a night flight you are going to be the comfiest you can because otherwise you are not going to be able to sleep. Take the silver brooches off and make sure you can rest properly. if you are in your best jewellery there is no way at all you are going to get comfy. Who sleeps in jewellery after all?
being aware of the people around you is something you need to think about. There are people that are out there to steal things from people in the airport and if you are wearing expensive jewellery it is likely to encourage these people more than anything else.
In the end it is your decision, just make sure you make the correct one.
