Manchester Airport To JFK With American Airlines New Service

American Airlines have just started a new service, taking passengers from Manchester Airport to New Yorks JFK airport. It began on May 16th and will stop after September 30th, 2010.

Running up to (and including) 7 times a week, it gives passengers around the Manchester area a perfect solution for breaks in America, going to one of the most popular destinations in the World. Its true that New York may not present as ideal a solution for family holidays as somewhere like Florida, it is the absolute perfect destination for young couples or those looking to enjoy some shopping, amazing bars and restaurants and amazing nightlife. Its not called the City that never sleeps for no reason!

If youre looking to take a few days off and can get to Manchester Airport, flights will set you back around £530 for a non-stop economy flight, and around £400-450 for an economy flight with a connecting change. Try and bear in mind however that youll also need to be able to afford travel insurance and secure parking at the airport, although the Manchester airport parking structures are excellent and not too expensive.

If youre looking to save money on flights and extras, try booking last minute deals for the flights, as this can often save you money on the ticket costs. As far as airport parking goes, have a look online and spend a decent amount of time comparing sites and prices. Be sure to search for the airport youre after and click on more than just the first one or two links, have a proper look around as it gives you a greater chance of finding a suitable deal. You should find you come across lots of companies offering to supply you with airport parking, which should allow you to note down and compare all the quote and save yourself some money.

You should also employ a similar tactic with your curreny exchanges – dont just exchange them at the airport because its convenient. Keep hold of them and shop around, youll almost certainly be able to find a higher exchange rate somewhere else if youre just willing to put the time in researching. The Post Office, and sometimes banks, will often offer exchanges on foreign currency with no comission, although you may have to prove you have an account with them first.
