Manchester Hotels: The City And The Girls!
Girls, if you’re looking for a man-free break, why not take a weekend to relax and spoil yourself in Manchester, one of the most cultural and vibrant cities in the UK. Along with the luxurious Manchester Hotels to stay in, Manchester is packed with spas, shopping destinations and bars you simply have to try out.
To catch the best bargains at the amazing Trafford Centre, head out early from your Manchester Hotels – designer, high street and boutiques can all be found in the centre, which also boasts many cafes, restaurants and a cinema too – in case you get tired. Or, if you prefer your fashion to be more unique, head to Tib Street Fashion Market. The first North West, dedicated fashion market; the stalls include fashion and new styles from the most up and coming designers. As well as clothing, there is lingerie, bags, hats and jewellery – a great way to make your own fashion discovery.
Spas, saunas, pedicures and massages…just a few things to enjoy at one of the city’s top spas. Many Manchester Hotels even have their own spa, but if yours doesn’t, don’t fear – there are plenty in the city. From the more obscure offering their own unique relaxation teniques to the traditional spa days with hot tubs, saunas and jacuzzis; you’ll be spoilt for choice. Just don’t forget your bathing suit.
You can’t complete your girly weekend without sipping on fabulous cocktails whilst dressed up to the nines. One favourite bar is Cloud 23, a rather swanky bar on the 23rd floor of the Beetham Tower. Floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides let you enjoy the beautiful sights of not just the city at night, but the North East too. Head there around dusk in all your finery, as the city is just starting to come alive with twinkling lights. Although pricey, its worth it just for a couple of drinks and a to enjoy the landscape. There are other fabulous bars including The Modern, a sultry and sexy bar that makes you feel like you are in Manhattan, and a vintage magpie’s dream, the Apotheca.
