Winter In Montana
At first glance, winter in Montana seems depressing. The extreme cold, the snowy white monotony of the entire surroundings, and the general atmosphere of gloom, all contribute to a time that seemingly dampens all enthusiasm and energy within and without. The howling winds and temperatures drive the cold right down into the bone, and all vitality is snuffed out in the process. The whole place goes into hibernation mode, and the streets become empty as a ghost town.
All is not as it seems, however people are trying to snatch up Montana properties for sale right and left. Unique is a word that best describes the Montana winter. The trees, although devoid of their foliage, still has a natural charm to them. There is the pines’ dark smudge, branches of trees dancing, snow-capped rocks and mountains, all contributing to an incredibly picturesque landscape.
Wildlife species continue to be sighted, dotting the place with their serene and awe-inspiring presence: moose, coyotes and foxes; a pair of swans; the eagle; a lone grouse; a duck here and there. This shows that winter can be as full of life as the other seasons. Life continues, and winter-hardened fauna show humans that earthly life is not necessarily a harsh edict of Nature.
Complementing the sights are the myriad sounds of nature and human activity.
